Who this house is for
Somebody who wants the same Mayr discipline in a quieter, less designed, less expensive house — and who would rather the money went on the medicine than the architecture. It is the connoisseur’s choice in the Tyrol and it has the returning guests to prove it.

What it is known for
Why this house has the reputation it has
- A genuinely medical tone: unhurried physician consultations, real diagnostics, and none of the spa-hotel dressing that the flagship houses carry.
- At roughly 900 m above Innsbruck, with the graded walking the cure depends on directly outside.
- Materially less expensive than Lanserhof or the VIVAMAYR houses for a comparable, arguably more rigorous, medical week.
- Small, family-run in feel, and repeatedly recommended by people who have done the cure at more than one house.
What we would tell you on the phone
It looks like a comfortable Alpine hotel rather than a destination spa, and guests expecting Lanserhof’s architecture are briefly disappointed. Then the medicine turns out to be at least as good and about half the price. If you want to be photographed, go elsewhere; if you want the cure, this is the one we would take ourselves.

Who is actually here
Physicians trained in modern Mayr medicine with diagnostics and laboratory work on site, plus therapists for manual abdominal treatment. The medical density here is comparable to its more famous neighbours.
We do not publish clinicians' names anywhere on this site. They move, which makes a named page quietly untrue, and naming one invites you to book a person no house can promise will be on shift — assignment is made on arrival, from your examination. What is worth knowing is how many there are and what they hold.
