How it works

A travel agency, not a directory

Start a conversation →
  1. 1Tell us what you want from the journey

Share your goals, travel dates, preferred pace and budget in a complimentary call with a wellness travel specialist.

  2. 2We shape the right shortlist

We compare destinations, properties, programme lengths and seasons, then explain the strengths and trade-offs of each option.

  3. 3We book the whole journey

The programme, the room, the transfers — and the days either side if you want them. One invoice, one number to call.

Four things we look for in a wellness destination

Our research looks beyond the hotel to the tradition, standards and experience around it.

  1. 01The practice is local

It belongs to the place and predates the tourism. A discipline imported to fill a spa menu is not a destination, however good the treatment room.

  2. 02Standards are visible

A registration, a syllabus, a professional body — or a state that pays for it. Where a discipline is unregulated we say so on its page.

  3. 03It remains part of local life

A practice whose entire caseload is foreign has become a product. We look for the documented signs it is not — a hospital wing, a public clinic, an insurance panel.

  4. 04Its boundaries are clear

A serious house publishes its contraindications and its minimum stay. One that publishes neither will sell a five-night Panchakarma to anybody who asks.

Plan around the place

Wellness seasons, month by month

Wellness travel is sold on the weather and practised on the season, and the two disagree more often than they agree. Kerala's best fortnight of the year falls in the monsoon — cool air, high humidity, open pores — and costs a great deal less than the January everybody photographs.

Why book through us

Three things a booking site cannot do

You could find these houses on your own. What a search result cannot give you is an opinion nobody paid for, a page that says who a programme is wrong for, and a price with nothing hidden behind it.

OneWe read what you will not

Every house here is built from published sources — accreditation records, how the discipline is regulated in that country, what the programme actually contains and who it is wrong for.

TwoNobody pays to be here

No property can pay to appear on this site, to rank higher, or to be called a flagship. There is no advertising anywhere on it.

ThreeThe starting price, up front

Every programme shows a starting price per person, what it includes and what it excludes — before you enquire, not after. Nothing here costs more for booking it through us than booking it direct.
