At a glance
- The current application does not set first-party cookies or persistent browser storage.
- No analytics or advertising tracker is configured in the website.
- Google Fonts, Unsplash and links to WhatsApp have their own external-service practices.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask a browser to store and send with later requests. Local storage and session storage are other browser-storage mechanisms. These technologies can support essential functionality, preferences, analytics or advertising, depending on how they are used.
2. Current use on Heal & Rest
As at the update date above, the Heal & Rest application does not set first-party cookies and does not use local storage or session storage to save visitor preferences, enquiry details or tracking identifiers. No analytics tag, advertising pixel or embedded third-party chat tracker is configured in the website.
Retreat-finder selections are submitted through the page URL. Form entries and open navigation or chat panels are held in the current page’s state rather than stored as persistent visitor profiles. The floating contact widget provides links to WhatsApp and our enquiry service; it is not an embedded live-chat tracking service.
Server records used to deliver an enquiry or prevent spam are separate from browser cookies and are covered in the Privacy Policy. Network, browser, hosting or security services outside the application may have their own technical behaviour. Contact us if you see a cookie you would like us to identify.
3. External resources and links
Google Fonts supplies the website’s typefaces and Unsplash supplies some photographs. Loading those resources sends a request from your browser to the relevant provider. That request can reveal your network address and request information, even when our application does not set a cookie.
Choosing a WhatsApp link opens an external service. Links to properties, airlines, sources and other websites also leave Heal & Rest. Those providers control any cookies and storage on their services; their privacy notices and your browser settings apply. Merely opening our contact widget does not initiate a WhatsApp conversation.
4. Browser controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and website data through your browser’s privacy or site settings. You can also restrict third-party requests or use a content blocker. Controls vary by browser and device. Blocking external fonts or photographs can affect how this site looks, while blocking a supplier’s cookies can affect its own booking service.
There is currently no optional analytics or advertising category to enable on Heal & Rest, so we do not display an “Accept all” tracking banner. If optional technologies are introduced, we will update this notice and provide the consent controls required before using them. Browser privacy preferences do not change the terms of an external service you separately choose to visit.
5. Questions and policy changes
Email hello@healandrest.com with the page address and the name of any cookie or storage item you want explained. The date above identifies the current notice. Read the Privacy Policy for the use of enquiry information and your options for contacting us about personal data.
